Mr. Pinkwater,
I was just wondering about your opinion of the Melvinge of the Megaverse books. I enjoyed reading them as a kid and I still find them great material for thought.
What ever happened to the concept that you originally had? Was it just a thought, or a scene? And now that the books have come, aged a decade, and become mostly impossible to find, do they really even matter? I can find no comment by the authors, and little by you or any other party.
Not sure if any of this was a real question, but basically, if you can shed any light on the books’ origins or their place in your creations, any information concerning them all, I’d be much obliged.
Sorry for the streaming consciousness, if it can even be called that.
William

I did not write the Melvinge of the Megaverse books, nor have I read more than a page or two of any of them. Poor advice from a schlocky agent, and need for a quick buck prompted me to write a sort of premise or general outline in keeping with which the books were to be written by other authors. You enjoyed them??
